Salicylic acid is a widely used ingredient in skincare products, revered by many skincare enthusiasts for its excellent exfoliating properties and efficacy in reducing acne marks, unclogging pores, removing blackheads, and evening out skin tone. 
Salicylic acid needs to be in its molecular form to exert its true effects; however, the solubility of salicylic acid in water is relatively low, being 0.2% at 20°C and 0.224% at 25°C. Currently, the application of salicylic acid usually involves dissolving it in water and adjusting the pH above 4.5. 
At this point, salicylic acid is partially neutralized and exists in a soluble salt form (such as potassium salicylate, sodium salicylate, etc.), but the transdermal absorption ability of the salified salicylic acid is significantly reduced, leading to a decline in its effectiveness. 
BeriCos® SA-15 utilizes supramolecular encapsulation technology to achieve any ratio of salicylic acid and water that is mutually soluble. 
After dissolving in water, the solution's pH is the same as that of pure salicylic acid molecules dissolved in water, allowing salicylic acid to exist in its molecular form and exert excellent effects.
